About Us

 

Cindy Colangelo is Director of CLC Consulting, a consulting firm dedicated to building strategic partnerships between mission-driven non-profit agencies and the communities they serve.  Cindy developed CLC Consulting after a long tenure of working in both the corporate sector as well as non-profit.  

 

Cindy was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and is a proud graduate of the University of Florida with a major in Sociology.  She has since earned her Certificate of Non-Profit Management through Brookhaven College and the Center of Non-Profit Management.  She moved to Carrollton, Texas in 1986 where she currently resides with her husband and two sons. 

 

Cindy’s community service has been far-reaching over the years.  She is an advocate for the education and development of our nation’s youth as well as a certified Ombudsman for local senior citizens through the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.  Cindy's projects have benefited a variety of local organizations including Citizens Development Center, Senior Adult Services, Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind and the Dallas Area Coalition to Prevent Childhood Obesity.

 

Currently, Cindy sits on the Board of Directors for Metrocrest Social Services  and on the Advisory Board for Citizens Development Center.
